Acrostic Style - doing this reminded me of my primary school days.

MANCHESTER

M - Meaning of Manchester is coming of age
A - Artistically mature for its creative stage
N - Never pulled down through bad press or attacks
C - Conquer it's ambition, commerce happily backs.
H - Here is where it's happening. New London now brought North
E - Eateries to suit appetites. The qualities good; of course.
S - Sanctuary places to love; museums, libraries ...a few to name
T- Theatres and arts are plentiful, go explore or its your shame.
E - Essence of city madness. Parking, expensive and loud
R - Rich to regenerate for local people - get ready to be proud.

Your Soul 

I am inside deep within your skin.
Promiscuous combination of ideas within.
The abstract thoughts, sense of empathy.
Judging right from wrong, I am your destiny.

Contemplation of things beyond what we can sense.
Is my unique hold on you; let the chemical mix commence.
I am your sin, I am your desire
Your personality I mold until your time...

I’m Your Mother

“Hello, welcome home its nice to see you”
My words fall on deaf ears.
The look of unseen, personality withdrew.
Invisibility through hate is my view.

Yet again you disrespect, lock me out of your life.
I strive to catch just a glimpse.
My heart shatters in your silent knife.
A barrier created in an instance.

I am your mother and will not give up
An unconditional love.
You can keep hurting me with your venomous out lash
I’m here to help stitch us up.
