A Scramblers Passion
​
I walk upon this sodden ground
To reach my sight of gold.
The cold wind beats upon my face
The rain stings uncontrolled.

I've set my sights and target now
I clamber, climb and wince.
To reach the top will be my worth

Raindrops
​
Raindrops come in various sizes, this year we have had them all.
With thistle sized bombs then the drench of an army
United with water from angles unforeseen.
Vigorous winds whipped with a stinging.
Venturing outside... I was certainly not keen.
​
A heavy gloom in the air had devalued my days
The dull, moist soak of the fine.
The droplets of sparse beats I listened.......
