Much want is here, you traipse and bestow.

The Elephants Eye - A Secret Poem No 8
On the road travelling to Skye,
You will see to the left the Elephants eye.
Up high as a mountain it pretends to lie low,
A crescent of green, white-eye looking below.
An August day, its gaze caught my eye.
I loved its audacity, tricking all who goes by.
It’s quite an achievement to hide such a size.
Yes… since the Ice Age it’s become quite wise.
A green carpet as coat and a long trunk please note,
Compliments it’s ridge to the ground.
It’s humour of trickery ....
