My Treat

My mother told me off today
But I'd been good, not naughty.
I had made a nice meal for her
Out of Play-Doh... Nice and saucy.

I collected things she loved,
like her makeup, wine and phone.
Then covered them in Play-Doh, glue and glitter
(Feeling proud) All by my own!
They were lovely......

Tenerife

Tenerife has its escape
A wonder and a beauty
A tourist spot to relax
Or climb volcano Teide... A duty

This island has a history
Eruption from the sea
An unscientific thought......

Virtual or Real?

The virtual world for children
Is welcomed to some adults.
It keeps them busy, quiet, heads down
Fingers tapping adventures for fun.

But in this world of addiction
Their common sense is harmed
Do they experience their instinct
From social interaction?... Be alarmed.

A trust with people unknown.......
